The goals of a County Judge's Office revolve around dual roles: presiding over the Commissioner's Court and handling
specific judicial duties, all while acting as the county's emergency management director and promoting community
well-being through public assistance, liaison, and ceremonial functions, ultimately ensuring efficient, effective county
governance and improving resident quality of life. The County Judge also serves as a budget officer when adopting
budgets.
In essence, the County Judge aims to be the central figure for county administration, policy implementation, and
emergency response, focusing on efficient operations and resident services.
