Bastrop County Development Services Department helps homeowners, business owners, and contractors ensure
compliance with applicable county and building codes when they build, demolish, remodel, or perform any
construction in Bastrop County when planning special events.
The goal of the Development Service Department is to work closely with the community and to assist with facilitating
development projects like building permits, safety codes, land use regulations, water systems and other construction
regulation projects and inspections.
